Mobile Suit Gundam Seed is set in a future where humans have colonized space and tensions between the Earth Alliance and ZAFT, a group of genetically enhanced humans living in space, have reached a boiling point. The series follows the story of Kira Yamato, a young Coordinator (genetically enhanced human) who becomes the pilot of the powerful mobile suit Gundam. As Kira fights for his friends and the people he cares about, he confronts the horrors of war and the consequences of humanity's actions.
